This blog is about me enjoying the journey, and describing it.
I have always been a traveller/wanderer and these random, irregular, eclectic, and often poorly constructed posts are designed to provide a snapshot of where I am at or the challenges I am facing at a moment of time.
My travels have seen me living in a range of locations: including Tasmania, Sydney, Lae (Papua New Guinea), Launceston, Bundaberg, Brisbane, Canberra, Ha Noi, New Delhi, Geneva, Rome, Dhaka, etc.
During this time I have had the privilege of working across a range of fields and disciplines in many countries. Including work as an academic, in industry development, in research and development funding and management, in food regulation, and as a team leader/project manager, risk assessor, and consultant.
Importantly, my view is that if it isn’t going to be fascinating and challenging, then I’m not interested!
